Great cotton material. Not too heavy of a quilt and will be nice during warmer months. Since it is pre-washed, it has that comfy feeling and no stiffness. Reminds me of sheets hang outdoors to dry. So fresh! The stitched-in pattern gives the quilt texture. I am partial to white because it does not limit accenting with color/printed throw pillows. I always purchase king size quilts or bed spreads for my queen size bed because it gives more coverage. If you have a bed skirt it gives it the complete full to the floor look. I am very happy with my purchase.
